LODGING:

Nestled in the Southwest corner of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area, Sulphur Creek Ranch represents the best of what Idaho has to offer. Over the years, the relatively easy accessibility to Sulphur Creek Ranch has turned it into a popular back country destination for pilots and hikers. The ranch is located 28nm East of Cascade, Idaho or can be reached by a seven mile pack-in from the Middle Fork Salmon River trailhead just past Boundary Creek Campsite.

We have ten guest cabins and a lodge to accommodate visitors throughout the spring and summer. While here you can fish in our trout pond, hike any of the nearby trails, take a horseback ride, experience a professionally guided fishing or hunting trip, or simply relax in America's largest wilderness area.

Whether you arrive for a weekend breakfast or a week long guided hunt, we are confident you will never forget the serene yet stunning beauty of Sulphur Creek Ranch.

This beautiful "fly-in" ranch is located in central Idaho's 2.3 million acre Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness; the largest piece of roadless land in the lower 48. Sulphur Creek Ranch has a 4400 square foot lodge complete with a pool table, a warped ping pong table, chess, backgammon, and a poker table. We proudly offer ten cabins each with a private bathroom and shower. Our gravel runway is located directly next to the lodge for convenient access.  Fish either the 3 acre private lake for trophy sized cutthroat trout or Sulphur Creek itself. Both offer fantastic cutthroat fishing. Sulphur Creek Ranch with all its amenities is similar to finding a gold mine!(license pending).

The "Grain Run" is a very special opportunity to enjoy the mountains and fresh air and a true appreciation for “Life in the back country”.  You can meet the pack string at The Boundary Creek Trailhead at 1pm when they come to restock grain with the pack horses.  You will ride back with them and stay the night and then ride back the next day with a picnic at the trail head!  How fun is that?  This is a special price as you are helping with the fun of bringing back the grain needed for the horses! This is offered once a week so please call for more information.
